Each night before the Mr. and I go to bed we stop by each of the girls' rooms tell them good night and give them a kiss. Not a single night since moving out of her crib have not found Charlotte surrounded by books.
We quietly and carefully remove them from under her arms, sometimes from under her head and pile them at the foot of the bed.
I love that she loves books. Recently we've started reading chapter books together. We've started with those that have had a movie made: Charlotte's Webb, Pippy Longstocking, Mr. Popper's Penguins. It's a really great way to wrap up each book.

These two loves were our dates for Valentines Day. We did a fancy dinner at home for the 2nd year in a row. I think we'll make this one into a tradition. Dinner out amongst the masses doesn't hold a candle to this dinner conversation and quick ability to make it back into sweat pants.
This year C created he own desert to be served as one of the courses. It consisted of almond milk, honey, and cinnamon....along with a trillion red sugar sprinkles. Name TBD.

Grace recently settled on her first favorite book. She takes it to school nearly every day and wants to read it every night. She'll finish the sentences when you let her and she'll throw out an occasional "I'll eat you up I love you so".
And on a daily basis she exhibits a bit of Max...we'll be working through that over the next 16 years.
